I heard through the grapevine that some folks had been wondering about me, so I thought I'd better drop a line. I didn't mean to to stop posting; it just kinda... evolved. I'm not having an "offical" break or anything, I just stopped visiting. *shrug* If you haven't been in the same space, it's hard to explain.

What's new with you? Here's what's new with me: Mr. McKenna was laid off in September from a Fortune 500 company. That hit us rather hard. We've since rebounded, he's working again, albeit in a different city, and now we see each other every other weekend. Suffice it to say I'm living a pseudo-single life. :D

I am well, working away at a job I enjoy. I feel I'm contributing to society, and that is gratifying. I'm active, pursuing more yoga (attended a yoga retreat last weekend that was HEAVEN!) and I'm currently planning my first camping trip of the year in a few weeks. (Still as granola as ever!)

For those of you who had me on MySpace, I deleted my account and migrated to Facebook; please look for me there.

I haven't written any fiction in ... years, however, I've had lots of non-fiction published for work. :D Too bad I don't get a royalty for that!

I heard the Chicago Litogether was a blast! Glad to hear folks are enjoying themselves. Maybe I'll join ya'll one of these years.

Had to cancel the New Zealand trip due to finances, but, still have the airmiles to purchase tickets again for next year; have a trip plannned to Puerto Rico in June. Woo hoo! I believe I shall wear my first-ever bikini. Maybe. ;) Would still like to take my Literotica tour this fall, should finances allow.... stay tuned. I may have to hit you up for a bed en route.

My apologies for missed PMs, etc. I'll try to catch up.

Meanwhile... how the hell are you?! :)

Upright and breathing. Hey, at my age that's a accomplishment. I just got the list of the "fallen" in my high school graduating class. Anyway, in the event you get to SoCal, we have a guest room, if you don't mind dead animals all over the walls and floor.

McKenna!!! It's good to see you sweetie.

The Lit 3 costume party was a hoot. That's me over there <------- The whole weekend was huge fun. Maybe you can make it next year. :D

Please adopt me.

:(

I hate my life in Savannah GA. I'm jobless, homeless, (well not literally homeless, but this place isn't home), and I'm not nearly Southern enough anymore to fit in socially in a Bible Belt town. My dream is to live in the western states, take up granolan ways, and find work that doesn't make the world any worse; maybe even makes it better. I don't take up much space. One small terrier and a large lingerie collection, a few antiques, and a Toyota Yaris.

I'll make coffee. I'll do windows. Just help me learn Granolan and I'll soon be fending for myself.

BTW: I never thought you were dead. Just healthy enough to take some time away from here. Good for you, Mac. Good for your life.

Glad to see you are still alive......your fellow potatoe stud misses your presence!

Wow, how strange to come across your post about not being here when I haven't been around myself for about 10 months. Good to hear from you and glad you're doing well. I just wish I was contributing to society (at least to the fairer sex portion).

Mck! I sent you something in the post yesterday. *grins* No prizes for guessing what. ;)

McSEXY!

Oh baby I missed you!:kiss::kiss:

I've been busy trying to copyright the phrase "wanna fuck?" campaigning to be named "sexiest man in human history" and practicing hammering a six inch nail through a board with my penis (evidently some girls have standards).

Glad to have you back.:D

Hola, Granola! :rose:

The snoring one next to me says hello, too. (Or, rather, he would if he was conscious.)

Hi darling! Always glad to see you anywhere. Even seeing the chat indicator that you are online makes me smile, even though I don't always send a hello.

I understand about just not coming here. I tend to focus on what is in front of me, and thus will go months without talking to some old friends. Luckily, they are used to me doing that...

oh, and Tex... it didn't hurt. :D
