I am very sorry that you have to deal with assholes like that. I guarantee you that every single person who makes comments like that is someone that is not nearly confident enough to share their own personal images.

You are dealing with people who carry their personal shortcomings into their own little digital ego projections. They try to hurt others to make themselves feel better. Instead of allowing yourself to be hurt by people such as them, you should rather pity them. They have not developed past that sophomoric mindset that they have to drive others down to make themselves look better.

You are a beautiful and confident woman, and I truly hope that for the sake of all of us good people here at Lit that you will reconsider your decision to leave.

When I first posted pics on Lit I had all kinds of nasty comments about my old bod!!! but to heck with all of them ...as you can see I prevailed and I'm still around!!!

Lit can be a hostile place, period. It's probably more to do with that than your pics. It just happened to be your pics this time. It could just as easily have been a comment you made on one of the political threads. Some people just react that way to anything they don't like or disagree with.

Just think about all the positive comments and the people who like you.

And look at it this way, if you leave then the assholes win. Do you want that? I left and swore I wouldn't come back because of some things a bunch of people said to me. But then I thought why should I stop coming here just because of them?

I realize that I am going against the grain here, but let me give a bit of friendly advice..

I think it's great that you are confident enough in yourself to openly post your pics on this site. Kudos to you! However, just a reminder that this is a public site. By choosing to post your pics here, you are opening yourself up to both positive and negative comments. Yes, ppl can be shitty, but just as you're looking for people to "say nice things" to you, you have to expect that you'll get negative comments as well. I guess my point is that you shouldn't post pictures of yourself if you're not prepared to deal with all the comments you'll get. Like I said, I think your confidence is great, but you might want to take off the rose colored glasses on this one... People can be very mean, so it's best not to put yourself out there like if you can't handle the criticism.
