Humans are the Alien Creatures

Gaia smiled. "Wen.. hun teer."

She moves her hands tall and mocks throwing something. Gaia moves her hands in waves.. then she makes a sexual gesture.

Gaia begins .to draw in the dirt. A large home. Wynn and Memaw then her brothers.. River.. his mate with belly.. Kran and Darja with three small ones..piza..ska... aijah.. Gaia.. Water a small one and a crawler Breeda. "Fam leee"

Gaia begins to draw fields and trees. More homes.. the stream.. .the caverns.. and a small animal with six legs. "Yar jah ken."

"Wen, Gaia's father? Hunter." Blue Eyes responded, following along with her gestures and drawings.

"Hunt with spears." he asked. "Swim? Fish?" He grinned at the sexual gesture.

"Gaia's mother, father, brothers... No sisters?"

While Gaia added the fields and trees Blue took a stick and added himself and Gaia to the end of her family tree with a loving smile. "Okay?" He asked her when she noticed.

He took interest in the six legged animal.

"Yar jah ken, pet? Friendly?"

Gaia points to Breeda. "Gurl....si strr."

Gaia points to the mates of her brothers. Then her two nieces piza and aijah. Gaia did have an older sister but she died by the lizards.

In answer to Blue Eyes question she drew another picture of the beast among the people. She has no other method to explain the creature .

"Gaia's baby sister, Breeda." Blue eyes nodded.

"Yar jah ken doh-mess-tah-cay-ted." Blue said pronouncing each syllable slowly. "Fed well, treated well. Made friendly. Part of tribe."

It suddenly struck him, out of all the names of her family members hers was unique in that he remembered hearing it in old earth books of myth and legend. It was a very old name meaning mother earth.

"Wen name you Gaia?"

"Very old name, special. It means mother earth." He told her.

"Namd?" Gaia looked at him

Then she nodded "me maw gree fa Der"

To explain she drew another the females over her mother. A line to the middle female then a male over the three. "Gree fa Der."

Gaia knew her great grandfather. The man who named her Gaia .

"Gaia's great grand father. What his name? He tell Gaia stories?"

Books were rare now but some of the elders knew their value and kept them hidden and safe.

Perhaps, like some of the elders of his tribe, gaia's great grandfather kept some hidden.

If only they could escape and find some way back to their tribes and unite them.

Imagine, each scattered tribe holding a part of old earth knowledge and history. If they could just find each other and work together maybe humans would prove more than just animals to their keepers.

But it seemed like just a dream to Blue eyes, after all they were trapped in this little microcosm, him with Gaia and he had no intention of leaving her now, or doing anything that might cause the keepers to take her away from him.

Gaia thought "La ko ta Reed Kowd talk hes torri"

Gaia remembered the pages that he would read from. The book called Holy. But greater were the stories about her tribe with the first Gaia. The ones that rode horses... tilled the land..lived without fear of lizards....and hunted the great beast, buffalo.

Gaia also remembers when he passed in the night. He had told her of a vision grandfather sent him. How she flew like the birds... made many sons....and taught her children many of the old ways

She frowned then shed tears missing her family. Gaia held to Blue Eyes thankful she wasn't alone.

"Lakota good man, made Gaia better." Blue consoled her as best he could, knowing the pain of missing family. His father worked hard and died early, leaving him to care for the rest of the family until the day he was captured.

Blues throat and chest began to tighten as he thought of them. A part of him almost wished that they had been captured too. At least he would have been certain they were safe and being cared for. He turned his thoughts back to Gaia, for fear if he didn't, he'd lose control and start to weep as well.

He kissed her and held her, stroking her back lovingly. "Balou Ize never leave you, Gaia." He promised.

A few reports came along concerned with the female's actions. The Head Keeper assumed it was due to the breeding success. Content in his belief the report was filed and forgotten .

Gaia once more.tried to learn from Blue Eyes. Gaia touches his cheek gently. "Ya oo tri ba beeg?"

"Dem av hees tori? Saon hun ta... pa roove gud hun teer. Mak ba beez. Gr oow." Gaia asks calmly. She wanted to know what traditions were passed to the sons by fathers.

Blue covered Gaia's hand with his own and gave her a sad sort of smile. "My tribe is small, but strong. Strong or die. Hunt pass father to son. I learn from my father with my brothers. I would pass hunt to my sons, but stuck here." He was sad, angry and scared thinking about the fate of his children. The others would try to teach them, but only a few would survive.

Trying to push the thoughts of them away, he focused on Gaia and the new child growing within her. "This one, I teach all I know." He promised her, his hand resting gentle and warm on her belly.

Suddenly he remembered the device with the magic fire he'd stolen from the Yuza keeper. "Gaia, where did you hide magic fire stick?" He asked, sitting up straight with excitement.

Gaia felt the sadness in Blue Eyes voice. Something bothered him but whatever it was it was unsaid. Gaia saw this before between her parents and often was sent to care for the small ones.

Gaia thought about how Breeda was born. How would she birth her small one alone? Did Blue Eyes know how they came?

The darkness filled the enclosure and Gaia felt weary. "Een ta ree."

Softly Gaia sang the lullaby as she started to drift off to sleep. With. Blue Eyes with her, Gaia knew she would always be safe.

Blue Eyes had witnessed the birth of his children, but was always kept at arms length from his mates as they birthed. The one time he tried to push his way near his mate at the time had snarled at him like a beast, completely unnerving him. So although he wasn't an active participant in the matters at the time he had absorbed some of what his other mates did for the one giving birth.

Hot water was used to sooth and aid them as they struggled most of the rest was kept hidden from him. Although he knew one of the fun ones had used a knife on his fourth mate to help ease her birth pains.

"In the tree? Good thinking, Gaia!" He replied, pleased and excited, it took all his will to keep from getting up and going to get it at that moment, but it was dark and Gaia was warm and sleepy in his arms, keeping him in place. Her lullaby helped ease his restless mind and he relaxed, there would be plenty of time to go get the fire stick in the morning, he reasoned. Besides, their keepers would no doubt be watching if he tried to get it in the middle of the night. They would have to act natural if they were to successfully sneak the fire stick back to their cave.

When first light rose Gaia gathered her large basket and put the skin in it with her stones and toddled off to the place Blue Eyes gave her a bath.

Two keepers observed her cleaning the skin. The reports told how she took her stone and shaved off any remaining flesh and put sticks into the ground and bound the skin to those sticks. They didn't know that was how her people stretched the buckskin.

Gaia bathed herself and then took the basket to the tree. Gaia skillfully climbed up and began tossing down fruit to the basket . Gaia jumped between the trees causing the one keeper a fright. When he left his post Gaia climbed higher with the second basket. Gaia carefully put the thing in the basket and laid long leaves over it. Those leaves were how she made baskets.

Coming down Gaia was extra careful not to spill the basket.

While Gaia went about her business, Blue went in search for the curved peice

of metal the Yuza left in their enclosure. If she could manage to sneak the fire stick back to their cave, he would go about working it into a shield and whatever scrap that was left into a knife blade or two.

He was very excited, it was hard to keep calm, knowing that he would have a piece of the Yuza's magic in his hands by days end. He just hoped they wouldn't find out and take it away from him.

After placing the large sheet of metal in their cave he picked up the alien switch blade swords and his bow to go hunting. There was that wild boar to take care of and who knew what new monster they would send in for him to deal with.

After a while with no luck finding anything to hunt Blue decided to start gathering some rocks. This proved more fruitful than his hunt, not only did he find some smooth stones, good for throwing or crafting into arrow heads, he found a metal box, unknown to him, containing several ancient earth books about nature, math and science. It was more metal to him, that he could make tools out of.

Gaia gathered more nuts from the trees. She went to the place she found the red berries and bought more.

Taking the baskets back to the water she found six golden stalks. They reminded her of the dust memaw used to make round buns.. Gaia took some of the leaves and made a cone shape and pulled the stalks out of the ground to take with her to home.

Gaia now paid close attention to the trees. She was looking for signs of birds and nests.

Satisfied with his finds Blue returned them to the cave then back out with his crude knife and sheet of metal to get what meat he could off of the dead boar. He had his eye on its tusks, they would make great trophies once he had the fire stick. He couldn't stop thinking about how so many things would become much easier with it. It made him smile despite how tough and grisly the boar was proving to be at the moment.

After he'd salvaged as much of the meat as he could blue went and washed up in the water, carrying it in the curved metal sheet back to the cave. There was one last thing he wanted to do. He went to a tree with some thin, low hanging branches and took a dozen of them, sawing them off with his switch swords, then went back, started a fire and sat whittling them into skewers for the meat while he waited for Gaia to return.

He had one ready, skewering a nice fat piece of the boar meat and set close to the fire to cook for her as she returned. He smiled, pleased with himself, pointing the slow cooking meat out to Gaia. "For you." He said as he skewered a piece for himself and started cooking it, the sheet of metal still half full of meat beside him. "Boar meat." He added, licking his lips.

Gaia was looking surprised that Blue Eyes was cooking. He did many things women in her to tribe would do..

Gaia put the basket down and noticed the shiny dot in the corner. Walking closer she saw it was like the one she found before. Bending down and picking up a rock, she tossed thee rock at the lens. The glass cracks and falls to the floor, Gaia checks the pieces before telling Blue Eyes who is checking her baskets.

Gaia came back by the fire and was pounding two rocks with the grains between them over a small basket.. Those grains became a powdery dust after some banging. Next she took some nuts and did the same pounding. This time making a gooey mess that she mixed with the dust.

Gaia searched the stone pile for the right one to cook the gooey mess on.

Gaia's surprise over his cooking ability made Blue puff up even more than he already was. He felt like a king and he liked it, not realizing that in her tribe it wasn't what the men did.

He watched her with interest as he tore into his own meat stick. She found something hidden in a corner of the cave and attacked it with stones. This shot Blue to his feet, mouth full of meat. "Whu?" He blurted, immediately going through her baskets, looking for the fire stick. He only began to relax when Gaia went over and examined the remains of her foe. It was some sort of glass eye.

Finding it, he sighed happily, now that he had it and there was no danger he settled back by the fire, finishing his meat while Gaia made some strange sort of goo. It smelled nice, earthy, like the breads his mother used to make with flour. "Gaia no like meat?" He asked, as she'd yet to take the stick he'd cooked for her. "Bread smells good." He added, licking his lips.

Once he was finished with his meat Blue grabbed the metal box and opened it. Taking the books out he showed it to Gaia before she put the stone on the fire. "This work better?" HE asked, showing her that it could contain the earthy smelling goo. "Cooking box, will not burn in fire."

Leaving her to decide if she would use it he went to work, figuring out how the fire stick functioned. It was simple enough to trigger it, as there was a discolored spot he coould push to turn it on, and the only way to hold it comfortably kept the fire away from his hands. There was a little nob on the side that looked like a tiny wheel. He turned it, but it did nothing. Then he pushed the button to start the fire. This time the flame was smaller. turning it again, the other way, the flame increased. "Oh!" Blue exclaimed, immediately understanding that it was to adjust the power of the flame.

Knowing the basics of it now, Blue grabbed one of the smooth stones he'd brought back and carefully held it away from his body. He used the fire stick on it and where the fire passed, it cut the stone like it was butter, leaving a clean split. He did the same to the other three edges, giving it time to cool, he then picked it up and turned the flame low, using that to create a grove to tie the stone to a wooden shaft.

In less than five minutes he had the most perfect stone arrow head he had ever made. With pride, he held it up to show Gaia. "Look!" He said, pleased with himself.

There were so many things he would be able to do with this magic, he was almost overwhelmed.

Gaia took the metal thing and sniffed it. It seemed safe enough and held her flat bread well. Not being as close to the flames was nice too. Gaia was able to cook with singeing her fingers.

Gaia was chewing on a piece of fat and realized it was the oils me maw used in cooking. Gaia would have to find clay and make small urns. Darja taught Gaia many things during snow months like making urns and plates and how to make white fur in summer.

Gaia glanced at Blue Eyes working with the thing. She didn't like it but it was his and that was good enough. If it helped him and made him a better Hunter, she wouldn't complain.

When Blue Eyes showed her the arrow head Gaia was very pleased. Gaia went and picked up some slender sticks and started to shave the bumps off. Now she wanted to find birds for more then eggs.

After making the dozen or so small stones into arrow heads and knife blades Blue turned his attention to the metal. Cutting away several strips he could fashion into other tools, he left the majority of it intact and circular, with a slight curve to it. If he could fashion a handle for it, it would make a great hand shield, in case he got into hand to hand fights with anything, or anyone.

With some fiddling around he found that he could make the flame stick only hot enough to make the metal parts bendable, so he worked one strip into a handle for the shield and a couple others he turned into sticks to use in the fire, to save them from burning their fingers.

The metal ran out quickly and he was left with nothing more to do. He needed more metal. In the morning, after he hunted for food, he would look for more.

He rubbed his hands on his furs and looked over at Gaia while she worked her branches into wooden shafts for his arrows. He smiled and scooted over behind her, reaching out to massage her shoulders while she worked as much to feel her soft skin as to sooth her sore muscles.

Gaia made nine shafts for Blue Eyes before her hand tightened. It was a start and the skin was stretched enough to make tether bindings. Gaia weaved small leaves to act as fletching and hopefully in the morning she could adhere the pieces to make sturdy arrows ti hunt with.

When Blue Eyes moved behind her, Gaia thought he wanted to make a baby. Gaia moved up slightly and then shifted her weight to sit in his lap. It didn't matter as his fingers made her shoulders feel less pained.

"Wut ya oo dooen" Gaia asks as the tension vanishes.

"Massaging you, I like the way you feel, soft, warm skin. Does my touch feel good?" He asked, gliding the pads of his thumbs down her back. The way they ran along her smooth skin, making her arch her back aroused him. Despite the lack of pheromones Gaia still had this natural allure that blue could not resist.

He ran his hands back up along her spine, to her neck, where he fathered her hair in his hands and placed it over her shoulder, out of the way of his massaging. He worked every last bit of tension out of her shoulders before slipping his arms around her waist and claiming her neck with a passionate kiss.

Gaia gave a shiver and nodded. It felt wonderful and she could would want to learn how to do this magic to Blue Eyes.

"Eet gud" Gaia sighed softly. Her sighs became giggles as he grabbed her waist. "Ba loo mak ba bees geen."

It was her way of teasing but she needed him too as that twitch in her belly grew.

Gaia's sighs of pleasure and giggles aroused Blue even further and she asked him if he wanted to make babies again. He stifled a chuckle against her neck, his hot, moist breath warming her. She couldn't get any more pregnant than she already was, but he figured it was just her way of asking to make love.

"Mmm-hmm." He groaned hotly in her ear as his hands slipped around her and fondled her luscious breasts. "Does Gaia want to make babies again too?" He asked passionately, pressing his firm man root against her back.

Gaia glances back over her golden hair at him. She blinked at his question. Darja told her a man shows signs he wants to rut and make babies.

Timidly Gaia nodded. This was something new and she never heard Wynn ask MeMaw about babymaking.
