When a woman does in the beginning intend to raise a child on her own, without asking for any money from the father, after the baby is born and she finds out how much it costs to raise a child, she will often change her mind. In some cases, even when the mother has no intention of asking the father for money, if she has to sign up for state or federal benefits such as welfare or medicaid, one of the questions the state will ask is "who is the child's father"? If the state can find out who the father is, they can and do go after the father for money to recoup their losses.

Donating to a sperm bank may offer some protection, but even then, if some shyster lawyer can discover who donated the sperm, there can be legal avenues to go after the man for money. It’s unfortunate, but the reality of the world we live in today is that too many people are out to make a buck anyway they can, and you have to protect yourself both legally and financially.

There are some fetishes that need to be left as fantasy, and never acted upon, and this is one of them. Even years after the fact, and the man has forgotten all about the incident, he may find that cute little woman who thought it would be fun to raise a child on her own has turned into a money-grubbing cunt with a shyster lawyer who wants to take everything he has. In my opinion, if a woman wants to raise a kid without a father, let her adopt a child. If she can't qualify for adoption, she doesn't have what it takes to be a mother anyway.
