Okay so I know I am computer stupid, but I am not blind! Damn it!!

Hubby has created an account. (I know-- EEK!) He has the username and can log on. BUT so far has not received the validation email (it's been almost 2 hours). I don't think our email is blocking it, so I'm confused. Whenever I created my account the email was instantaneous.

Also he is trying to enable private messaging but there is no box to check to enable it. It stops at "Default Thread Subscription Mode".

Am I missing something? Whenever he goes to the email link for help with the validation email, he gets a message saying he is registered. And like I said he can log on. But still he has not received an email nor has he entered a validation code. We checked the email associated with his account and it is correct. So still confused.

What's going on. And please remember. Type sloooowly. I am computer stoopid. :D

Thanks for any and all help.

Is your computer turned on?

Damn it! I knew I forgot something!

have you tried pmming him?

It wouldn't let me. Showed him as having no contact information.

But I did fix the the issue. I had to create a whole new yahoo account for him and then change his email account here. Now he is all set up and I am wondering what the hell I have done.

Thanks for the help Noor. Pmann ? You need to take your goat smellin' ass somewhere else!

Might want to check whether it's been automatically dumped into the spambin; I've had that happen with Lit notifications.

blulilacgirl: sometimes what'll happen is people make a typo when inputting their e-mail address. glad you got that resolved, though!

Are you worried someone else got the confirmation email? Because it sounds you may have sent the email to a wrong adress andsome fucker is messing with you.

Next time you should probably register for your hubby, you sound more capable than him. Most women are the halfs.

I'm not sure if one thing has to do with the other, but I belong to a couple of Yahoo groups and received a massive backlog of messages from them today. From what I've heard from many Yahoo email users, it is often buggy, so one of those frequent glitches may be the cause of the issue if your hubby registered using a Yahoo email address in the first place.
