Hughes & Lindbergh Letters to Goering

Next week, Der Spiegel will publish previously undiscovered correspondence from Howard Hughes and Charles Lindbergh to Hermann Goering. The letters will reveal the personal financial commiments both Hughes and Lindbergh were willing to make to the development of the German airforce. Hughes and Lindbergh also write of their financial support of the American Bund and desire for "Rosefeld" to be defeated. The admiration expressed in these letters from Hughes and Lindbergh toward the Nazi Reich is incredible.

Lindbergh also writes of his desire to visit Goering at his countryside estate of Carinhall and teach him the party game of "pin the tail on the jew, similar to how you pinned the Reichstag on the bowlegged scum."

Fascinating. Can't wait for Der Spiegel to hit the newstands.
