i was hoping some of you who have had anal sex could help me with this. it might gross some people out, don't see why, but here's what happened.

I get constipated after my period...normal. but this last week was hell. When i finally did get to go, some skin ripped. i can't go to the bathroom anymore without excruciating pain but i can't do anything about it.

I have heard of people after having anal sex for the first time, have sores or torn skin. what did you do?? i can't take this anymore, its not getting better.

Sorry if you are offended at all by this, just ignore it. But i need help.

Have you seen a doctor yet? If it's an open wound, it will probably get infected if left untreated. Have you tried an antibiotic cream or gel? There are several on the market now with a pain killer in them.

I'd suggest the doc, though, if it's that bad. An infection would be unpleasant.

horsie girl, you really need to see a doctor. Those tissues are so delicate, and you may be doing more damage to yourself without realizing it.

I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but you need to see a doctor.

okay, thats definately not what i wanted to hear.
I know you know this, but they've seen and heard everything - FAR worse than what you have. It's not like you have to say, "Um, well, I was trying out my brand new, MONSTER dildo in my ass, and this is what happened," or something.

If it helps, write it out and read it to the nurse, then ask her to apprise the doc of the situation because you're nervous. Get an appointment with a doc of the gender you're most comfortable with, and go from there.

It'll be okay, Bobsgirl and I promise (right, BG?). :rose:

Such good, gentle, sound advice, take it. Once you get over the hurdle of seeking medical help, you'll start to feel so much better. Please, don't delay.

What you have is calld and anal fissure and it is very common. I had one a few years back and I have never recieved anal sex or anything like that. It is very common actually and most often has nothing to do with any kind of sexual penetration. I was shocked when told I had one and asked for causes. Constipation and straining too hard is the most common actually, as is child birth for the same reason. Trust me when I say that there won't be any instant thoughts of "oh she musta got fucked in the ass!" or anything like that.

So that's the good news, now for the bad. Because of the area it is, these are very slow to heal. There are some perscription ointments and such which speed the healing process which your doctor can give you. These also fight infection. As an idea, I had one and experienced bleeding for well over a year, thinking it was just like a hemerroid or something. After getting the antibiotic cream, it was healed in about a month and never bothered me again. If it is a major tear, these can sometimes require surgery to repair.

The chances are that you have a minor tear. It may feel excrutiating, but that's just because of the nerves involved there. If you let this go though and it doesn't heal, it can worse. Plus, if it doesn't heal and you still have constipation problems and keep straining, you could tear it further. Make and appointment and go see your doctor. If you aren't comfortable going ot tyour regular doctor, go to a proctologist, but I wouldn't bother with that. Like I said, it's normal, common, and not super serious if you take care of it.

So be smart, get the to a nunnery, er...physician!

On the plus side I had the delightful experience of having the pharmacy assistant, who was a college kid, yell at me in front of 20 people to "BE SURE TO ONLY USE THOSE ANALLY!!!" Had I not been so mortified I would have pulled him over the counter and beat him bloody. It was obvious from his enormous glee that he had just been waiting for an opportunity like that to come along.

That is SO cute! Did any of the cutomers offer to help you with the insertion?

Since you know you get constipated after your period be prepared next time with a stool softner...... ;)

A. See a doctor ASAP.

B. Try Dannon Activia yogurt. It helps me because I take 4 meds with constipation as a side effect.

It's not abnormal for some women to have irregular bowels during periods. Mine seem to go haywire right at the beginning and then nothing for some time during and even after.

Stool softener and maybe even a gentle laxative. Go to your doctor for this problem and then tell him/her that you've had bowel issues during periods. Yeah, it's embarassing but I think it's better than suffering through the pain or even having a more serious issue come from it.
