I thought I'd say hi. :D

Threads seem to balloon to 8 pages before I get back to them, and I don't know where any of you are at!

So how's everything? Anything new? Anything old?

I'm moving on the weekend! I'm also looking for a new job.

Cheers, WT

Hi Wishful!

Nothing new worth mentioning, but good luck with your move and finding a new job!

Lou :rose:

Hi Wishful!

No..nothing new. I am desperately trying to finish a story I have been working on since June...I just can't seem to finish it!

I was in bed last night thinking of an ending which was good, but now I can't remember it! Figures!

Anywho...Today is Monday and I can't wait until it is over!

What ho, wishful

Heighdy, WT.

This coming weekend we are trekking in to the cabin on the now frozen lake. On snowshoes and hauling toboggans behind us, to spend the night in a snug place with a fine hot stove and good company. Dominoes, spades, cooking, and much conversation. No electricity, no 'phone, no worries.

Other than that, damn all.

I am doomed never to move again, it seems, unless my wife actually does kick me out! We have the house paid for, or so nearly as to be able to spit at the date that it is, and she is never moving again, she says. Pity, really. I like moving.

I hope you are enjoying your move. Packing well is an art form.

Eyup Wish. You've probably heard about the AH Yorkshire meet, it was an excellent adventure. (guitar break)

I'm still waiting to hear about my competition entry on Richard and Judy (I used a story from Lit. as the basis for a proposed novel)

The tallest son has gone back to uni.
The eldest son has a rain-check date with a music PR guy in the big smoke who heard a song of his on a website and asked to hear more.
The youngest son is still the youngest son. More complicated to explain than you'd want to listen to here.

I haven't written anything for ages (other than as alias in short story type replies to threads) and I don't know when I'll start again.

Weather is cold, food is wonderful, wish you were here. (hehe just realised that last bit is like "kilroy was here")

Hi Wishful,

Life still sucks in the work department, haven't written anything since NaNo, but the love life is steadily improving.

I like moving, in fact I do it about every five years.

:D

It is so nice to read where someone says Howdy, are you from texas? Or somewhere in the south?

Anywho, even if your not a fellow southerner. "Howdy do?"

Hi wishful.

My love life blows because my boyfriend is being a big jerk, and who wants to fuck a jerk? My new story is dragging like a corpse behind a ... well, something that drags.... And it's really fucking cold, but not cold enough to actually get out my winter coat.

best wishes on the job and the move!

Not cold enough to get out your winter coat does not qualify as really fucking cold, Carson. :D

Hi, WT!

I've a knot in my back that won't go away. That's about it for me at the moment. ;)

I do have a jacket out! :(

If it helps any, I had my wool coat all buttoned up with the hood up today and it was only in the mid fifties. :D But it was windy and rainy and cold, dammit!

My life? Don't ask.

I've always considered moving an adventure - I enjoy it. New job could be either way,....not fun to start, but could be a good thing.

Good luck with both!

Hey Wish,

Howdy right back at you.
Moving can either suck, or be a blast. Depends on wether you chose to move or had the choice forced upon you. Here's hoping you chose to move. (I think I've mentioned here my move from Massachusetts to Florida. Others looked at it as though it was a nightmare, to us it was an adventure.)

Not much going on with me. I finally got around to posting another story, other than that it hasn't been all that exciting since the hurricanes gave us the Big B.J.

Take care.

Howdy again!

Nope, not a southerner, unless you count downunder! :D

I can't wait for the move! [that is, for the part when everything is moved and found its new home and I've got a cold glass of champers in my hand :D]

As to the job - I'm no longer challenged, so I'm looking around.

Love life - sucks!

Writing - my corpse could give Carson's a run for its money! I've just submitted a story, and the ending will make all my regulars '1' bomb me! :D

SC - how far away from each other are Florida and Massa? Are we talking something like east coast and west coast Australia?

hiyas WT!

erm... just got back from a wonderful visit to texas.
well, i must work on getting a job
must work on getting life in order to move south
and if that fails
i think ill work on getting the letter 'r' ratified for the state of massachusetts...

ahhh, wish I were in Texas! I could do the cowgirl thing Oz style! :D

I just noticed 'sub' has been crossed out for 'dom'. New years resolution?
