Show off your brain?

*smile*

There are all these threads on lingerie, sexy clothes to show off your body, but what would you wear to show off you brain?

And would it change depending on what aspect of your mind you wanted to highlight? Creative? Logical? Earnest? Business Acumen? Intellectual? Literary?

Professional dress. Dark subtle business attire. Subtle make up and hair. Little jewelry. The idea is to get the attention off your actual appearance and more on what you're saying.

Stark Nekked, my good man. Why, you ask? That way, my head is the only decent looking thing..........er, I've said too much

Seriously, I'd have to ask my wife. I'm not allowed to dress myself...... :D

hmmm I have no idea..

I've never had this problem. Everyone can tell by looking at me, I don't have one :D

*points to the blonde hair*

*note* blondes don't get mad.. It's a joke :)

To show off my brain, I'd wear

Comfortable clothes and a lab coat. That is my professional attire.

Creative

I'm a artist so today to show off my brain while I was out, I was wearing bright orange pants with a marbled lime green fitting shirt. A beaded orange braclet and necklace. With my red hair I hope it showed my brain is creative :)

I dont know many men that are interested in my brain.
Luckily.

And it dont matter what you dress me in,my brain aint gonna get any more intelligent.
Nekkid or clothed,I'm as dumb as an ox.

Every reply is serious. Every reply is not serious. Every reply is quite appropriate.

Every reply a person makes is the reply they choose to make.

I'm legitimately curious if people do dress for intellectual success. But I'm open to whatever you want to read into this thread as well.

I dress for the occasion....

From the bottom up...

heels
stockings
skirt, knee length
tailored jacket with shell underneath
light make up
glasses if I really need to look like I am in charge
hair, nails and jewelry all carefully done

Whether or not I wear panties....well, that depends on my mood, intellectual or not!

:D

Dilly, if you dont check the I dare you thread I am going to beat you with a large stick!

As to your questions...

Suited and hair tied back, just like when I go for an interview

I gave up dressing to what people expected for an occasion in 1999 (long story). I decided that I am who I am..... I am bright, artistic and colourful...... so now I wear that where ever I go.... :D

"This is me, take it or leave it"

I've read it, Cheffie... I will reply - thank you for all those words! *smile* I'm just suffering a really terrible headache and am only lightly filling the board with fluff at the moment... I need sleep.

LOL!! You're great, man.

OK, if I do want to impress, my grey Italian suit, black shirt, tie depends - or just the grey pants with a black almost-a turtleneck-but-not shirt, and my glasses of course.

Or there's the Regis look, black pants with the colored shirt and tie combo.

A fresh haircut helps, as does a well trimmed beard or goatee.

Pending my wife's approval, of course. :D

Of course I would dress to impress, wether it's my brain or my body I'm trying to show off.

It's all about perception, and how you want to be viewed.

As for the clothes I would wear, they would have to be tasteful, nuetral colors, no ornamentation, straight to the point.

wear a hat with arrows pointing towards my brain so even the fuckwits will understand

A really sharp suit and tie. The bottom wouldn't match the top and the socks would be different colours. Sometimes I'm relly sharp, and other times I'll even baffle myself.

Well at work I dress in scrubs and a lab coat, on occaison I have actually got to see some brains:D

My glasses. That probably sounds ridiculous, but I've honestly found that people perceive me much differently when I wear my glasses, regardless of what else I'm wearing. Maybe I just look older or more serious, who knows?

My brain would be dressed in an array of colors.

The colors would change as to what I am thinking .. they would be bleeding into one another... the would range from deep bright colors to soft shades all depending upon my train of thoughts.:)

I wear glasses for reading.

Last time I ordered a new set, I chose them specifically for the "boss bitch " look they gave me.

Yes, they do tend to make people take me more seriously.

:)

Pink tutu over a pair of combat pants and a bright purple hawaiian shirt... bunny slippers and mickey mouse ears would round out the ensemble... but that's just me...:D

I think glasses on a lady are absolutley sexy, especially if their eys are alluring...I am melting already;)

I am cerebral...

I always wear something that flows- A skirt, a tunic, a silk scarf. Colored tights.

I wear my hair long and always pulled up or back in a usually intricate style.

I wear jewelry. "Too much jewelry" is just an oxymoron. Diamond and ruby studs and at least 4 rings. One pair of "art" jewelry earrings. A gallery necklace. A watch. Bracelets for every occasion.

My shoes are all flats. I wear mary jane's, ballet slippers, soft ankle boots and well loved Doc Martin's to walk and ride my scooter. My toenails are always painted and my fingernails never.

Every once in a while I pull something off the wall out of the bag: I have things from the 70's on through, with some of my mother's old things from the 40's.

I am always put together.

I can complete my morning ablutions in 20 minutes, including hair, shower and teeth brushing.

Of course I am intelligent and this is my style.
