How/when to back off

Why does this matter?

You're either a dom or not. If a sub doesn't think you are then they're not for you. All relationships require flexibility but if your sub's view of what makes you a 'real' dom is more important than what your gut tells you then there's a problem.

It has nothing at all to do with being a REAL dom, it has to do with being a strict dom.

You could always take it to the GB. We love a good bruja-ha down there.

TB, you did not offend me, but I think you second-guessed me in your post a little bit. It's not a big deal to me at all, but since you asked, I think you may have put people off by questioning my premises rather than my conclusions. I find that unfiltered opinions are generally the most useful however, so I said nothing to avoid censoring you in the future.

In any case, as much as I love a good catfight, I respect all the posters in this thread and I'd rather not see you all disagree so vehemently over something stemming from me. I will post hot pictures if y'all behave.

Well that's one good way to stop a fight in its tracks. :) Now, if you don't mind being a glove model, I still want a picture of a hand in a sexy leather fingerless glove. Maybe holding something, cigar, rose, ???

Seriously for a second, what is an example of "questioning your premises?" Is it, for example, where I ask if you are sure that relationship issues were all that were at stake for her when she didn't eat off her plate?

Hmm, good point. I tend to be deliberately erratic in my relationships so maintaining interbehavioral patterns isn't something I could help you with.

She oughtta know this by now. Sigh.

Maybe I just forgot? Remember Rosco, I've been off fighting my own wars for a long while now, and so haven't been exposed to your posting personality very much recently. In case you haven't noticed, it's rather unique? ;) (I know, one cannot modify unique--it just sounds good to do so sometimes.)

Thanks Sunfox, for the clarification. Much appreciated! :)

I see it morphing, but my eyes are really tired. But we're talking about Geiger, and if anybody could make a still picture morph, it would be him.

Why pick one when I can pick both?

Why do I get the feeling we're all sitting around our monitors staring at Never's av, waiting for it to do something? :D

How do you entertain the BDSM board for hours?.... *snickers*

More perv material, Marquis! We're all being good!

Yes please, more perv material, you are absolutely definately perv worthy.

For what it's worth you handled the situation very well. No amount of prior communication is going to uncover every little quirky response to every request, therefore there will always be the danger of an unknown & unexpected trigger. A wise Dom will never break his toys, if he wants to play with them again.

As promised...

I bought some Haitian art recently, and I've posed with my favorite painting. Haitian art is generally marketplace or voodoo themed. This is a voodoo inspired piece done in the surrealist style.

very nice....i spent a summer in haiti, back in the Baby Doc days, and brought back a few paintings. One took three days of bargaining to get. But it was worth it.

We spent part of our time in the village of Croix-fer during their vouden fest....we were inadvertently part of it.

Sounds like you know more about Haiti than I do. I lived there as an infant, but have no recollection whatsoever and I can't speak a lick of creole.
