remeber people talking about a chyoo that came before..where threads were aumaticly put up and people didnt accept threads or stories..everything was autmatic

they said they had to stop it due to story sabotage but how was chyoo before that.

any more have any of the old stories.

i only got here when this version of chyoo was up. so I was pretty much born in the dark ages.

Chyoo was NEVER like that! Atleast not the previous version. It looked a bit like this forum for the colour, but I know it didn't have AUTO-approve! It had the same style where the editor has to approve the threads and all. And if I remember right, in the old version, you couldn't even view the threads that weren't approved yet. Now, you can read the threads and it says "locked - pending approval". As far as I remember, nothing was automatic.

Who are "they" in the sentence that they stopped it, due to story sabotage?

The changeover to Chyoo 2 occured within about 3 days of me joining up, I really don't remember much about it. There weren't any inactive features and there was a link to the forum.
