how to send document from my hard drive

I would like to write story before I post it and then send it to be posted am new at this any help would be appreciated perhaps I could explain my situation better.

I am replying to a thread and would like to write it ahead of time so as not to tie up my internet conection. so if I write it to word document how do I transfer it to post it.
thanks for any help I can get sorrry for my lack of knowledge

Try the following steps:

1. Write your story in Word.

2. Save the document.

3. Run spell check and grammar check.

4. Copy the document by selecting all (ctrl+A), then copying all (ctrl+C).

5. Open your internet connection, and find the thread on which you want to post your reply.

6. Open a reply screen, and paste the text (ctrl+V).

7. Submit your reply.
