How to self-publicize your work on other (paying) platform?

Some of us here sell erotic stories on other websites. I understand Lit's stand on forbidding links to such websites directly in our story texts. Then again, erotic stories are not as easy to publicize as other genres, especially since most of us publish under pen names and can't really push our stories on social medias!

I've updated my bio to include a link to that other website, but I fear that few of my readers will take the time to go read that bio. Nevertheless, I'm confident that a small proportion of my followers would be happy to support me by buying a few 1$ stories...

Any tips on reaching more of my readers?

Thanks.

Some people put notes in the fore- or afterwords of their stories, pointing readers to their Smashwords or whatever profiles without links.

If they're willing to spend $, they will make the effort to look at your profile unprompted.

That being said, devote one section of your bio to what you're working on, and update it regularly. Your followers will be alerted whenever you edit the bio. That might catch you the odd fence-sitter.

People are on a free-read site for a reason. It's only the odd bunny who adores your work who would be willing to pay for it, and they're going to make the effort on their own.

I tried, but my story was rejected because of it. Here's what I tried to put in in the foreword: "Note: if you want to support me directly (or if you're an old fan who had lost faith that I would ever publish a new story!), please go to my bio on this site. Thanks!"

That's very good to learn, as I hadn't known they would! That should do the trick! Thanks.

You're allowed to put a link in your signature and there is an authors and their books thread at the top of the forum.

Not sure how many people here are willing to spend anything, but it can't hurt
