There are a couple of my poorly-written early stories that over time, I flat out don't like. There's no deletion option plainly evident, so how do I request it?

Submit exact same title followed by the word DELETE.

Do not enter any text in story area.

Add 'Please delete' in the notes box.

Note that story deletion comes after edited stories in Laurel's to-do list. It could take days or even a couple of weeks.

If you have a list of stories to delete, for example, if you are going for cash for stories site and want most or ALL your stories deleted - send a PM to Laurel (now 'conversations') with the list or 'all'.

It doesn't even have to be the exact same title for the replacement story.

I re-wrote five stories and changed the titles from "Getting Started Ch01 - Mentors" to "Lifestyle Ch. 04: Mentors", and explained in the Note that I was replacing the earlier story. It takes an extra day, because you will see the old version disappear on one day, then the new story posts the following day.

If you want more than than one story removed, make the title Remove My Stories, list the stories in the textbox that the story text would go. Include a link to each one. In the Note to Admin explain why you want them removed. You will need to fill in the required fields with something, it really doesn't matter what.

Thanks for the helpful hints!

Excellent, thank you!

I recently read an early story I wrote and knew that my writing had grown since it was published so I'm in the process of rewriting it rather than deleting it.

In which case, submit it as EDITED after the title. That way you keep votes and comments.

Thanks. I've edited like this several times but feel like a couple of the stories I wrote should just go away (one is mind control, the other is incest). They don't represent who I am now or what I write about, if that makes any sense.
