I have just had to change a print cartridge. It was a clone cartridge from a maker I hadn't heard of. The print instructions, 'which must be to read' were:

1. Rive off the package.
2. Take out the pin from the lable which is attached to the top-cover.
3. Poke into the air guiding membrane under the lable, and the pining depth is about 7mm.
4. If the cartridge has several holes, make sure all the holes are poked.

! Attention Affairs:
a. Make sure the poked hole(s) on the label as shown by Fig.3 or/and Fig 4 to expose the air vent(s). On printing, if there is no ink, please redo steps 3 & 4;
b. On printing, if one color of ink is out., please redo steps 3 & 4;
c. After poking the hole(s), please don't press or upside down the cartridge, and install it as soon as possible;

After all that poking, I'm worn out.

The printer actually works.

That's my favorite part, hehe - sounds porny. :rolleyes:

It was the 'please redo steps 3 & 4' that wore me out.

'Don't upside down tha cartridge'

That's such an Indian thing. Where are these made? :cathappy:

The printer is six months old. The cartridge I bought a month ago. The external packing is labelled in reasonable English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Norwegian. The internal packaging adds Japanese.

Once I opened the box the quoted leaflet came out. After I had rived open the package the cartridge had only a serial number on it (and the attached pin for poking).

There is no evidence of country of manufacture.
