I find that when I don't know much about someone but I find a couple of things of interest I tend to fill up the rest of their character and personality with traits that I would like to see, with little to no evidence that such qualities exist.
Huge waste of time.
I seem to have the best results when I recognize a personality type. But for me I associate it with a particular person from my past. Both the positive experiences such as oh she's very accommodating like so and so was.... or the cautionary examples oh lord it's another one of THOSE!
I am vaguely where aware of a personality classification methodology that involes four letters I don't know what for letters mean. I do know that it has to do with for example if they're introverted or extroverted whether there this or whether they are that it seemed to show some promise.
I'm sure that I'm going to get these letter arrangements wrong but for example they look like this: ENTI ITNI EQFG Or whatever.
Can someone provide me a link to a decent tutorial on this idea?
Does anyone use this sort of mindset in how they screen people effectively?
If so have you found that at times but I'm jumping to the wrong classifications that you dismiss the wrong people are keep the wrong people around too long?
