How to keep him interested

LOL! Bad boys, bad boy, whatcha gonna do... :nana:
I've learned not to watch shows like NYPD Blue with my husband. He's always saying, "That'll get ya fired," or "We're not allowed to do that."

He's such a purist. :)

:D

I know what you mean! I simply can't stand to watch TV shows or movies about newspapers or newsrooms. No one EVER shouts, "Stop the presses!" That would fucking ruin the entire printing plant. And that asinine movie, The Paper by Ron Howard ... don't even get me started ...

Okay, now back to our regularly scheduled thread. What was it ... ??? Oh yeah, furry handcuffs!!

Anyone? Anyone?

LOL...you're embarrassing me all to hell because that's really what it feels like and at 35 I figured I was over that. I guess not. I just chose to try and ignore the feeling, even though I know it's there.

Thanks for the wonderful advice. I know what I'm doing is correct, it's nice though to have the reassurance of a few nice people behind me! :)

Karen
Very cool, and you didn't even have to get a friend to tell him that you "really like him" ;)

I got a friend who's a cop in Chicago and he says the same thing when he watches those kind of shows.

So Eilan, how about some practical advice for Karen here. Is it considered bad form to put on a teddy, assume the position and ask your cop boyfriend to frisk you, or do they like that? :D

Not bad form at all, unless by "bad" you mean "good." It's all about location, though. :p

Wow, that was a Freudian slip, or what?
Not really. Good in a bad kind of way. Or maybe bad in a good kind of way.

Probably not a good idea to try this outside the police cruiser while he's on duty. Otherwise--hell, yeah! :D

LOL (blushing) OK OK so it ran over into this morning too! With the boys being away for the weekend, I wasn't about to waste it! Let's just say that Karen is a very, very VERY happy girl. :D

LOL...yeah I was, wasn't I? :D

Well, I did my best and so did he and we both loved every second of it. Such a sweet guy, he did everything right, including not rolling over and falling asleep. We talked a lot too, and that made it really special. And falling asleep with his arm around me! God, how did I ever do without this for 5 years?

Sheesh I feel so silly talking about this, but then you all gave me such good advice, I just feel I had to tell you I'm on cloud 9. :nana:
