Xfrodo and I just have different gifts. I have to give him Kudos for keeping this thread going even though he gets alot of flack for it. I couldn't do that. Pretty amazing people have come to this thread to at least ponder the message of Christianity.

Thousands and thousands of people were saved by Billy Graham. I remember when his crusades were on TV. I wasn't a Christian then. I would turn it off. What others have said is the best preaching of all time I couldn't take because to me he sounded like he was yelling. I had enough of that at home. I have since enjoyed reading some of his messages. It took my sweet, shy, college roommate to make me really think about it. So who was the better Christian Billy or my roommate Jackie? Good thing for me that there is room for both.

You purport your faith is the one true faith. How to get to heaven, and avoid hell, isn't that what the title is of this thread?

Look if you can't accept that once you die, that is it. NO heaven or hell, nothing, no existence, or consciences. Your body and all that it was that made you, returns to star dust, that fine by me. Your not alone, millions cant seem to face it.

If I was a Christian, and I believed in the bible, I would see Donald Trump as the Devil incarnate. Isn't there a thing in the bible about "bearing false witness?? Not to mention, what is a true Christian doing on a sex site?

Xfrodo should read the Sermon on the Mount with more attention. While it was conceived as an exhortation to Jews by a great Rabbi, Jesus, to behave ethically and with understanding; it could just have easily been delivered by the leader of any one of a dozen major faiths.The principles espoused are common to all the major faiths. Recognizing the good and the values of other faiths is a necessary prerequisite to claiming adherence to the basic tenets of your own.

I think that Tryharder's ideas are frequently banal and sometimes just plain wrong; but I can also see with equal clarity that she is essentially a good person and human being.

In contrast Xfrodo's arrogance and desire to exclude anyone not conforming to his views marks him out as essentially un-christian. He can claim adherence to a faith or belief but it counts for nothing unless you live it.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven as the Bible says and I make no apology for saying it because it's what Christ actually says in His Word. Do you believe Jesus lied when He declared He was the only Way?

The REAL reason you are offended by this is spiritual. It points out your sin to you and need of a Savior and that makes you uncomfortable. If I were a muslim or other religion, you wouldn't have any issue with me doing this. You need to ask the Lord to show you the truth and tell Him that you will believe it if He will show it to you.

First off, I did reject it, The freedom of realising life has a beginning and an end, nothing more or less is life changing. I also realise most (210 million in the US alone, or so they claim) cannot admit that to themselves, and need to hide in religion so they do not live in fear of death. However I am not actively trying to promote this, I am not trying to hider anyone from their Faith, I am merely pointing out to YOU, that it is a faith, and not fact.

Where does it say that in any portion of the bible???? Now I am not in favour of abortion, I will say that up front, but I am also not female, and no one has any right to tell me what to do with my male body, so no one should be able to inflict that on someone else's female body.
