Great Quote

Especially if you read it in context and see that he's specifically talking about a god in the deist sense, as some sort of creator of the universe that can be understood by humanity if you look hard enough, instead of relying on organized religion, which holds you back from trying to unlock the mysteries of how god works.

"The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we concentrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power. My Mother had taught me to seek all truth in the Bible; therefore I devoted the next few months to the study of this work."

That's quotemined from an article he wrote in 1919 that was republished in "My Inventions", and in context it's pretty clear that he's saying knowledge is the path to unlocking the secrets of the universe, not anything even remotely religious.

Any time he talks about religion he does so like someone who's culturally Christian, so he almost certainly is, but he's not saying anything profound of philosophical about god there. He's just saying that if you study the universe instead of reading the bible you'll understand it, and he wished his mom knew that.

Technically, if you’re a Christian, all souls go to Heaven when the body passes away. Now, whether or not you attain the promise of eternal life after judgement, that’s a whole different ball of wax.

All souls do not go to heaven, only those who are born again in Christ.

What freaking book are you reading? No soul goes straight to Hell. In Christianity, every soul stands before the Maker and has judgement. If their name isn’t in the book of eternal life, then the soul is cast into Hell.

It's called the Bible. There is a place called Hades, which is a holding place for the dead. The condemned are already being tormented there and after the Judgement they will go to The Lake of Fire or Gehenna. Christians tend to call both places hell, but yes there is a distinction. Hell is actually the grave. The saved souls before Christ's resurrection went to the Paradise side of Hades, AKA Abraham's Bosom. After the resurrection of Christ, they were taken into heaven, which is where Christians currently go upon death.
