It's called the Bible. There is a place called Hades, which is a holding place for the dead. The condemned are already being tormented there and after the Judgement they will go to The Lake of Fire or Gehenna. Christians tend to call both places hell, but yes there is a distinction. Hell is actually the grave. The saved souls before Christ's resurrection went to the Paradise side of Hades, AKA Abraham's Bosom. After the resurrection of Christ, they were taken into heaven, which is where Christians currently go upon death.

As far as Christianity goes, there is no “holding place”. All souls stand before God. Then, there eternal fate is determined. Hell isn’t the grave either. It’s a place of fire and torment - a total separation from God. Find you a different book to read because the one you’re reading is fucked up.

That's not true. Read the story of the Rich man and Lazarus. You obviously don't know the greek and hebrew words translated hell. Death is separation. Physical death is separation of the body and soul. Spiritual death is separation from God. Nice of you to talk to me about the Bible and then use the F word and act like you know about it. Keep believing the grave is Hell. That’s your belief. So unless you’ve died and came back, you really have no proof of what or where Hell is. I think you are hung up on things that don't matter. What we call hell in english is a place of torment. I agree, but the words should have been translated differently because there are several. You kind of made my point. I agree that satan still has access to heaven and accuses the Saints day and night as the Bible says in Revelation. I don't fail to realize that all souls will stand before God and be judged. I think what you fail to realize is that there is more than one judgement. There is the Great White Throne Judgement which is only for Non believers for their sins. There is the Judgement Seat of Christ, which is only for believers, not for their sins, but for rewards. There is also the Judgement of the Nations, which has to do with how they treated Israel. Any thing that you question about my beliefs let me know and I will give you verses. You do believe what the Bible actually says now don't you?

The first part of the song is about a rich woman who can buy anything she wants. She decides to buy her way into heaven. When she gets their all of the stores are closed, but she is still able to get what she wants because of her money. Not sure what that song said. Is this tree and songbird in heaven with her? Not sure of the meaning there. It says he gets a feeling when he looks west. That sounds like islam to me. Rings of smoke through the trees? Not sure, maybe this song is including different religions in their vision of heaven. The piper must be a reference to the pied piper.

Anyway, it's a bunch of mumbo jumbo in the end if you ask me.
