How to get nailpolish out of carpet?

Like a giant idiot I definitely just spilled about half a bottle of bright pink nail polish on my light carpet.

Did you do a search on Google? Don't know about nail polish but I once moved into a house that when I first inspected it had brand new off white carpet in the kids' bedrooms. When I moved in, there was a pink stain clearly visible in one of the rooms. Looked like Pepto Bismol. The only thing that 'cleared' it was using a tiny bit of bleach...but it only worked because the carpet was close to white to start with. Depending on the colour of your carpet...might be a last resort for you.
