Since a certain SOMEONE has steadfastly REFUSED to clean out his INBOX, I have decided to hold a CLASS on the ART of inbox CLEANING. Heh. Emphasizing words is fun!
Pay attention. No sex while the teacher is talking. It distracts me.
Okay. Press the UserCP button. Yeah, that very button that takes you to your inbox where you can look over all my old messages with fondness.
Two. Press "View Private Messages" Yes, that very button that you have to press to actually see the PMs from me that you have received.
Three. Click the little radio box by my messages. A black check will appear. Click all the little radio boxes by all of my messages. For good measure, since there aren't that many of mine, you may want to do this with some other PMs.
Four. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and press the delete button. Yes, this part is painful, but all good things must end so other good things can come into your inbox.
Five. No, you aren't done yet. Scroll back to the top, pull down the menu beside the word Inbox and pick Sent Messages. These are your own words. You can delete these, too. You can't live in the past forever!
Six. Click on some (not just one or two) of the sent messages's radio boxes. You can do it, I'm pulling for you here.
Seven. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and press the delete button. I'm proud of you!
Eight. What? Thought that was all? There's message tracking too! You can delete the ones that you know have been responded to already here. No sense cluttering. Pull down the menu next to Sent Messages and pick message tracking!
Nine. Radio boxes again. Sensing a pattern in the winds? Click the ones you know have been responded to.
Ten. This is a new one. Press end tracking. It's at the bottom of the page, you'll have to scroll.
Now. If you have properly done things, and weren't stingy with the radio button pressing, then you should be able to receive some new PMs from people.
Weren't you slightly curious why no one was PMing you?
