I have made a few submissions already but want to alter my Lit identity before i do any more, can anybody help please?

To change your user name you have to ask the site owners. It is rare for them to do it, but have been known to for special cases.

Somehow I doubt your reason would qualify.

Just start over.

Actually, for about my first 70 posts or so, I was "DCL". But since my stories were posted under "Dixon Carter Lee" I started over.

If Davewhatever has stories posted under his username, then just keep your username, Dude. It's no "bluntforcemama", but it's not that bad.
