How to ban a person in PMs

Is there a way to ban a specific litster in PMs? I know I can close my PMs altogether, but I want to do it for just one person. Doesn't matter if he knows about it or not.
Any ideas?

It's been a while since I welded my mailbox shut. But, used to be putting the person on ignore meant they couldn't PM you as well as not having to be bothered with their public drivel.

Mouse over the screen name and it should pop up wanting to know if you want to follow or ignore, choose ignore and see if that doesn't work.

When you “leave” a conversation, it give you the option to ignore future messages from that person. Just click on that, and then click ignore on their profile, too.
