I received a stern email advising that I should have posted a warning note on one of my books that it contained homosexual sex between two men! O-M-G! How shocking! :rolleyes:

This is in one of MY FemDom books! It was very mild, brief scene and part of a female domination scene BTW.

I love this type of feedback – it keeps me smiling all day! :)

Yeah, I got a similar e-mail because I didn't warn my readers about a gay male plot in a story.

To that person, who was brave enough to critisize my work but not brave enough to stand up for his opinion, I'd just like to say one thing:

Oh deary me! An uncomfortable thought in a book! Oh yes warning lables for that kind of thing are an absolute must!

Wouldn't want to challenege a pre-concieved notion or confront a bias within our selves, goodness knows!

In fact, you should put warning labels for any and all "out of the mainstream" ideas that might be in any of your books.

Except I suspect that it would double the price of the book to cover the cost of printing that many labels ;)

Exactly. I get this kind of feedback all the time. "Oh, I didn't even know I liked gay sex." :rolleyes:

Once I was even accused of writing "disguised gay sleaze." :rolleyes:

Why would I want to disguise it if I'm out to convert the whole world?
