I think a small subset of married woman have for a long time been more accepting of 'looking the other way' of their husbands affairs, many of them seemingly because outside of the betrayal and lies they don't actually mind. I understand that I do not fit your requested gender, for a response, but I will throw it in there, just as an FYI. Many years ago, my wife cuckolded me with someone she met through her work. As I am a traditionalist in the definition of "cuckold," (a man whose wife is unfaithful) there was nothing I could do about it. She had sex with another man, and I am a "cuckold." Easy.
