Oh, you have no idea. I've already gotten my local school district to ban it and was instrumental in bring my state Senator up to speed, resulting in a state-wide ban.

A good friend of mine is a senior advisor to several GOP State Senators, and he was unaware of CRT until the incident at our church that I posted about. We talked back then about it, and he looked into it, but it didn't go much further because the legislature was ending its session about then.

Then things started blowing up this year with CRT, and I told him I had written my Senator and Rep, but hadn't heard back from them, so he, being senior advisor to my SS, had his chief of staff call me. We talked for probably 45 minutes. After that is when the amendment to the Education bill was added and passed. CRT is now banned in my state's schools.

Awesome. THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!!!

Neither is happening, but the attention Pud and republicans are bringing to the issues are motivating decent people to discuss institutional racism and voting rights, which ultimately leads those decent people to advocate for social change and vote in record numbers.
