How much time does it usually take to get story approved/rejected?

It's inconsistent. Sometimes it takes a day or two; sometimes it takes a month to a month and a half. I don't pretend to know what factors determine that, but I wish it were a little more even.

There is no such thing as fool proof editing / proof reading.
True. I've found stupid little things like unclosed quotes in my stories years after the fact and wondered why I never saw them before. But when I see them I fix them.

I have to admit, I have no characters named "SkyBubble" in any of my stories.

My character Annie in the upcoming "The Contest: Becoming Sarah" (submitted on 5/31, currently pending) is the president of the sorority house where the action occurs.

Topic drifting ... I actually had one of my characters refer to "Annie" in a story. "I" don't appear on stage, though.
