If he had actually sexually abused their children, it is my opinion that no parent would have taken the money- they would have pushed it in court. To a celebrity, a child molestation case is usually a career-killer. Even to be accused is a stigma that sticks with you for a lifetime. You would want your child's molester to be brought to justice. You'd see him in jail, or, if my childhood of bad horror movies has taught me anything, you'd gather together and catch him on fire, thus leading to a multimillion dollar gross in sequels and merchandising.
