How Many Posts Per Day...

I don't think those situations are exempt from the construct known as Time, are they?

Obviously. But we're differentiating between quality time and trow away time. Time spent riding shotgun on a shitty highway in germany, surrounded by nazis, is not equal to time at home with your family, unless they're nazis who forced you into marriage.

Your points are all good and valid, especially the ones about stealing from your employers to be here and the time spent being online for other forums, etc.

For some, it might be an hour a day...others a few minutes, others several hours a day.

If you prefer, call it minutes or hours per day.

I'm asking how much is too much, how much is so too much that people, even people here, would agree it's evidence of a "problem".

I really shouldn't have to re-explain the concept...at least, not to posters who know their shit and have something to say.

i think it's less about how much time you spend doing it so much as why you do it that points to a problem. ie, the point where it goes from recreational to addiction.

individuals who exhibit addictive behaviour re. lit are likelier to have a higher post count, but high post rate doesn't in and of itself = addiction.

so i guess if you're like, blowing off your wife and kids to maintain your 89 posts per day average, that's probably a problem.

Time is a "construct" now? What is it with post-modernists and this "construct" thing? Some things actually exist and are not just "constructs."

They look so big.
