I have missed only one election since 1992 (I became legal voting age). If you don't vote, don't bitch!

It's always a hoot reading those who claim some type of surreal patriotism in voting for any candidate who demands the unconstitutional power to both assassinate and detain American citizens indefinitely with no 5th Amendment guaranteed due process whatsoever...

...pontificating on how other Americans, who adamantly refuse to vote for such treasonous unconstitutionality, have no grounds whatsoever to complain about the very unconstitutionality the voters themselves continually enable.

Bozo hacks on both partisan sides cite the duty of voting for "the lesser of two evils"...

...while remaining psuedo-ignorant of the fact they are the ones enabling evil itself to continue in Office (but, they claim, not as much as the other side).

In reality, it's the bozos who vote these "lessers" into Office who then have no right to complain about the evil they, themselves, intentionally enabled.

The Revolutionary core of American political free speech is represented stoutly in the ballot, and a citizen's political stance is voiced both in casting their vote and withholding it...

...but it's far from any surprise to once more witness so many statist bozos on one of the digital world's most free speech sites proclaim any citizen is in any way less American for freely practicing one of the very most inherent of all man's rights.

Like the disrespectful putz who tells his own father to "shut the fuck up"...

...all of you statists will turn into wormfood without ever coming close to the absolute need of control your natural insecurity spent its entire lifetime so pitifully seeking.

Pseudo-ignorant?
Where do you find this stuff?

Since I live in a swing state I will vote. If I lived in a state already decided I don't know if I would vote.

Is anyone willing to provide a translation of this?

Sure:

I hate Obama because he's black. I also want to impress upon you that I'm well-educated, even though it's obvious the only book I've ever read is something by Michael Savage.

I don't think I can ever admit and live knowing I voted for either of those phlegmy douche chunks. Fuck it...not like democracy in this country is worth 2 squirt's of rat jizz anyhow, what Goldman Sachs wants.... Goldman Sachs gets.

There's more on the ballot than President and there are more than two presidential candidates and the option to not vote for that office.
Stupid not to vote at all.

Maybe he found it here:

Ya know what?
Be fucking offended.
Yes, dammit - GOOK flu.
If they didn't fuck about with hygeine and misuse antibiotics, they'd have normal flu like everyone else.
Even the doctor referred to it as gook flu when we finally had enough and went to see him, and bemoaned the fact that their health practises (or rather, lack of) were causing more resistant strains.
So yeah.
Gook flu.

I had someone post this the other day:

"Let me Break it down for you in simple terms. If you don't vote you don't have a right to complain about the outcome. If you vote for anyone besides the two main runners Obama and Romney, you may as well have not voted because that minor vote went to someone that doesn't stand a chance to win and your vote just went in the trash. So here are your choices. vote or don't vote. if you do vote, vote for either Obama or Romney. Got it? Good!"

I told her it was rather rude and unpatriotic, and I got this back:

"no its not. its the truth. you vote for one of the write ins or other canadates your vote is gonna help them alittle in the polls but not enough for them to win, they dont have enough of a following or electoral votes for it to matter. so your wasting your vote."

It's true that no third party or write in is going to win so if you really have to vote for president then you either throw it away or vote for one of the main two and if you're in a strong red or blue state and voting against the grain it's still throwing your vote away.
However there are also propositions and local candidates and federal candidates being voted on. In those cases each and every vote counts. That's where your right to bitch goes away when you don't vote.

I thought you were smart?
I went right thro that post, and didn't see the words 'pseudo-ignorant' anywhere!
Maybe it's just that you have better eyesight than me

Keep looking, I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the racism you refuse to acknowledge.

The only wasted vote is one cast for someone that doesn't share your views. Voting against Obama is a wasted vote. Voting for a 3rd party candidate that shares your views is a good vote. As John Q Adams said, vote your conscience, even if you vote alone (paraphrased of course).

The only Quincy I trust is Jack Klugman.

This really makes no sense at all.

Think about it. When you vote it's your choice. When you vote for someone that doesn't share your values/views, you give away your choice to someone else. Why would you ever choose to vote against your own self interest?

By voting against someone, you aren't voting for anyone that shares your values. So you are just wasting your vote.

Yeah, it's dumb to vote against someone you don't agree with, but if you're wasting your vote, you're wasting it whether you believe in that person or not.

By voting against someone, you aren't voting for anyone that shares your values.

What if you feel that, given the candidate choices, it's the only reason to cast a vote at all?

Should one vote, or not vote?

No, you're a full fledged racist. I don't think there's any question of that.

You do this thinking you're actually somehow getting to the r/l me.
You're not, you know.
Unlike some, I walk away from the keyboard and instantly forget this place :D
But don't let that news stop you... I have fun reading out your posts to other people sometimes!
