Well, let's hear it. How many hours do the writers here put in everday? One, two, twenty?

Maybe one or two, spread out over the course of a night. I'm more interested in how much i've written than how long i've been sat in front of a monitor.

I've adopted the method used by many successful writers. The secret is to devote a certain number of hours per day to writing and stick to it. Lately, my daily time spent writing has been remarkably consistent at between zero and none.

Ditto!!

As many as I can spare at the moment, because the gift is with me. Every now and again I get these bursts of creativity where I write everything. Then I get nothing for about 3 months.

I try to spend a few hours doing something related to my writing each day, even if it's not actually writing. I've spent entire days writing it seems when I'm excited about a particular story.

My writing technique is that I sometimes spend up to 3 hours in a day, to write, write, write, until my arm hurts, and then not even write my own name for weeks.

From 3-5 hours a night, four nights a week. That's "working on books or stories" writing. Plus at least 2 hours a week "working on game stuff" writing.

It's cool to see how others work. I like to write in the morning, when I'm fresh. At least a couple hours every day. Just like others, if I get hot, I'll write damn near all day. But then the dogs get neglected, the lawn gets long, and the SO gets crabby.

Good grief!

Dear MNGuy,
Much improvement on the AV. Where on earth did you get that one?

I googled something for a GB thread, but I rotate my AV's every day or so.

Hmmm........

I write about........ 3-4 hours a day when I can write, Like one of the earlier posters I have to have a muse talking in my ear for it to really come to anything. And sometimes thats every day other times its.... downright frustrating not being able to write..... so I read instead........ anything I can get my hands on usually.
