Ordinarily speaking, a week is pretty standard for story approval. Sometimes more sometimes less, but lately it seems to be on the side of more. I've recently heard it taking up to two weeks and there are several contributing factors regarding the speed of a submissions acceptance.
I'd give it a few more days and if you reach the two week period it might be a good idea to PM Laurel and find out if there was an error in submitting or if she and her entourage are just a bit behind at this particular time.
Good Luck, and while I know it's hard to have patience, it's really the only option right now. I worried on my first submission as well, but my nailbiting made it seem an eternity. In reality it was only six or seven days, so don't worry.
