how long does it take?

Hey there,
I was wondering, how long does it take for a story when you submit it to be reviewed and then posted? I submitted a story over a week ago, and it says its still pending. So I was wondering the usual time frame for such things.

Usual time = 3 days. it may take longer sometimes depending on the number of stories submitted, number of stories pending, number of stories submitted in a particular category and I think due to a lot of other reasons I'm not aware of.

I have a story which is pending too... I know how it is waiting for it to go up... I'm checking it twice daily and that too before the 3 day waiting period (I submitted it on Thursday). Patience... just patience dear Zee

The format you submitted it in will make a difference also -- C&P into the submission box or uploading a plain text file will usually take 48-72 hours for approval and be posted at midnight PDT the same day it's approved.

Posting a story in MS Word or RTF format will take 4 - 7 days because Laurel has to manually convert it.

When there are a large number of submissions, or when Laurel's real world commitments cut into her editorial time, it can take as long as two weeks.
