It's 4th grade -- I tutor a 3rd grader who attends a catholic school, we just finished a unit on how a bunch dinosaurs all got killed by a meteor that hit mexico.

I'd go with parent saying "WTF SOUTH CAROLINA", since it's an SC school.

Regardless of Hoax or not -- creationism IS taught in schools in America, isn't it?

I don't know for sure if creationism is taught in schools in America, but I've heard that in some states people reject evolution, so I reckon there's a good chance it is taught.

Not as fact, no. It is taught in a few places as a second, equal "theory" to evolution.

My son brings a lot of homework home. Never once has it been headed, "First Grade Homework" or "First Grade Science Homework." It wouldn't make any sense for it to do so. He knows he's in first grade.

Everything from that hanging curve of a title to the way-too-convenient true-false answers suggests to me that this is just a joke. Nothing real or legitimate about it, except perhaps as a kids' activity in the Creationism Museum or the like.
