That's how long Pres.Elect Bush met with Al Gore today at the Vice Pres. mansion in DC. The press clocked the time from when Bush's limo stopped at the door to when it started to drive away. They estimate actual talk time was about 10-12 minutes.

George dubya would be so tactless and ill mannered to say such a thing.

And why is this important? Did it say the limo drove away with George in it?

I have made an error in judgement regarding Mr Bush. I tended to mold my perceptions of him on the images presented by the most vocal and visible (to me anyway) of his supporters. Specifically truckdrivers and those who call into talk radio...these people tend to be extremist and rather ignorant...Now before you get all bent outta shape about me calling truckdrivers ignorant just remember I am one. I see their idiocy everyday..."Sore Loserman" bumperstickers and all that rot..

My point is...I allowed my opinion of the candidate be formed by my observations of his supporters. Not good since any candidate has plenty of wingnuts in addition to the good folks behind him/her. He may be OK....

Good for you, Thumper. Open mind, just in case Bush does follow through. Nothing wrong with flaming him if he doesn't. But it is good to start with a nice clean slate and make your own history without being judged in advance.
