I only did a brief look, and so far I haven't figured out how far away I am in miles, but I'm 9 timezones away from San Diego.

So if you take the circumfence of the world, which is roughly 26250 (if I remember right) miles dived that with 24, each timezone spans over aprox. 1094 miles, times 9, then I should be more or less 9800 miles from San Diego.

If I were tempted to drive it again, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1100 miles. Visited it 22 years ago to see my folks. Saw the "Del" and the zoo. Remember it being very hot for the middle of winter, and then returned to Denver and lots of snow!
