How Far Can They Go?

I just received some nice feedback where the writer said they were hoping for more of the story. They wanted to see "how far [the couple] would go."

In the story, the man pretty much takes over the girl. He dresses her as he wants her to look, he humiliates her by making her wear a remote-control vibe in public, then takes her back to their room and has wild sex with her, tying her up and whipping her and finishing with a bout of anal sex.

Now, I wonder. When someone wants to see "how far they will go," what are they expecting?

It seems to me that marriage is about as far as you can go, but somehow I don’t think they’re asking for a wedding scene.

Humiliation can go as far as the deepest recesses of the imagination can go. I think you could go quite a bit further with that type of theme, but it really depends on how extreme your mindset on the subject is capable of.

I go through some pretty dark and/or extreme scenarios from time to time just to see what my imagination is capable of. Most of my darkest writing is the LoJ story in my sig line, but I've written stuff outside that story that I would never want to release into a public forum.

The extremes of the story only depend on you.

Unless you know what bits really turned your reader on, you can't know what he means in terms of direction. Is it the bondage? Perhaps he wants her to be tied up 24/7 until he wants her, or maybe a smorgasbord of binding techniques. Is it the discipline? Perhaps he'd like crops and paddles and canes in addition to the whip. Is it the humiliation? Perhaps he could jack off into her underwear and have her wear them all day at work. Is it the public humiliation? Maybe he'd like him to invite a few friends over to show off his little slut toy, or pull her behind the bushes for a blowjob. Is it the dominance, the ownership? Perhaps he'd like to see her quit her job so as to better serve his whims at any and every moment.

You could take them anywhere to go further. Best is to write what pleases your imagination.

It's been some time since I read the Story of O, but didn't they get to branding? Of course, best I recall, by the story's conclusion, O had become the one with the "real" control. Somehow I don't think Doc's reader would find that appealing.

Disfigurement? Death?

Perhaps the reader wishes the ultimate submission. The Story of O, perhaps?

I think you could go lots of places with it. A few things that come to mind are giving her over to a friend while he watched, forcing her into an exhibitionism situation, testing her while he's away somehow, etc. Push her to the very edge of reason, where she's weighing what she's done with what she's being asked to do. I always like to see what characters will choose in a make-or-break situation.
