How does someone like Emily Harris make bail?

Sometimes, justice isn't only blind it's fucking stupid too.

I guess there is some following that believes she may have been an accomplice in crime as a result of mind-control techniques (as with Patty Hearst, who received a pardon for her participation in a bank robbery) who would support her.

I doubt in her maturity, she is of the same mentality that she was when she committed those acts.

I'm not condoning the actions of her misguided youth, just offering a possible answer why.
