How can one start up their own messagge forum board?

If you want to start one here, you'll have to PM Laurel. It'll have to have a really good topic that hasn't been done elsewhere on the Lit boards, though.

If you want to start one somewhere else, you'll need space to host it and also forum software. Some options include phpBB, YaBB SE, and vBulletin (which is what Literotica uses). If none of those appeal to you, try this listing of other software.

And then there are services like ezBoard that host the software for you. There's a listing of those services here.
