Basically the title. In my case I'm trying write a very fit man in his early fifties I.e. he's 51 at the start of the story.

The person has been regularly going to the gym for an hour every other day for nearly seventeen years now and has kept a regular set of other activity such as yoga or swimming on his off days.

So given this how would you show such a fit man?

I'd probably ask myself if this is really the story I wanted to write with the amount of questions you're asking about fairly basic and intrinsic issues.
I'd go with the old cliche of "Write what you know about"

Not sure how much experience you have with writing, I haven’t looked at your profile, but you are describing my age/profile within a few years. I have some experience writing, if I was doing it I would think about how much character development I would want to incorporate; is he an asshole fitness enthusiast, judgemental (the kind that can’t stand people with more fat than him) or is he compassionate, and why. Why is he so into fitness? What advantage or disadvantage does this give him with meeting and bedding women?
This is just a starter but for a Literotica story, you probably don’t need much more than this to get moving. If you were writing a novel based on his personality, then you need more. Good luck.

In this case the guy is a person who works out for four major reasons:
  1. It wins him vote and makes it more easy for him to push legislation. Attractive people have a lot advantages if they're fit and attractive.
  2. He feels that it would keep his mind sharp in his middle aged and elder years as he doesn't have any vices i.e. not alcohol, no smoking,, no drugs, not fast food and etc. He's fit cause he's an example of straight edge evil
  3. He's currently developing a drug that will allow for immortality but it's in theoretical stages. The closest drug that may be tested on in humans doesn't reverse the aging process. But it stops it. It's still a couple of years off.
  4. He wants to be attractive to his daughter who's in her early to mid twenties and the two are in an incestous relationship. It feels less creepy when he's not a decepit old man but a Silver Fox.
He's still evil but he looks evil and good for his age.

Have the daughter describe him, either in her head or out loud to a friend, then forget about for the rest of the story.

You'll need some description and instead of physically describing him, you can go with conversation or another way of "Show, don't tell."

For example, a lifeguard could make a joke about him joining the Masters swim team (it's for older people), or have a gym rat or trainer compliment or make a joke out of it.

Main Character walks into the gym (named Joe): "Hey, Trainer, what's going on?

Trainer: "I'm just trying to keep it tight like you, man! *laughter* "What do you even eat?"

Main Character: "Since I hit 40, I just cut the beer way down. Ten years later, I don't even miss it, you know?"

There you have it. That's short and not a great example but have it in conversation vs. "The guy was 51 and in good shape." You could even say something like he was on the high school swim team but that was back in 1988. That'll give us the math.

Maybe have younger women flirt with him and compliment him on his physique as well (he is in a relationship with his daughter after all). Like this - https://www.ladbible.com/cdn-cgi/im.../content/b62ba4845c51db9acebaec553138da80.png

There are quite a few men on Lit who fit this description. Hot af comes to mind.
