I wrote my first story last night and I want to know what makes stories good. Or any other tips, if you have them please.

Thanks,
SlowMoe

Spend a day browsing the author's hangout forum. There are several discussions onhow to improve your stories.

Of special interest to you would be Killermuffin's thread about the three things a good story needs -- lot's of opinions for you to consider.

WhisperSecret's thread on Erotic Cliches is another good read for novice writers.

It really depends......
There ar such a variety of stories here that its hard to say. You may write something that one person thinks is wonderful, but isn't to another persons taste. Thats the way it goes here, most of use writers have a cross section of opinions on what we write.

What kind of story did you write? why nost post it and see what comes of it??
Or if you are still not sure....why not get a volounteer editor? They give a lot of valuable feedback.....

try the Volunteer editors
once you post, Story Feedback is blunt, but not brutual- post a request there!
