I started shaving my entire genital area several years ago and absolutely love it. Oral sex is alot better and also I have different sensations during intercourse. I've tried all kinds of gels and foams, but lately have been using women's shaving cream. I was shopping at my local toy store last weekend and cam across a product called Sensa Shave for men. Kind of expensive, but I've used it several times now as I usually shave 3-4 times a week. It works pretty well so far. I enjoy the feeling of being smooth and wouldn't go back to not doing it.

yeah, Magic rocks... comes in a premixed cream, and it's only like $3 per tube. Sooo smooth, no burn, no bumps. I've shaved down there before, and hated it. Do a test patch, some people can't deal with it... but they do have regular and mild versions.

i have been shaving my balls for over 10 years now. I shave them every morning in the shower with soap and a sharp razor.
I have been shaving the rest of my genital area for over a year. It is just the best feeling to have a shaved pussy against my shaved sensitive skin. goodluck!

Do NOT use Nair! If you do, you'll wish your balls were not there! Seriously, most of us have very sensitive skin in that region, and Nair will leave an unholy burn. Like most everyone else who has responded, my advise is to trim with scissors, then, using a fresh razor and really good shave gel or cream (I use Aveeno) shave very carefully. Take your time, rinse the blade every time, and for God's sake, DO NOT use a razor blade that has been sitting in your shower for days, damp. Not only will you more than likely break out, (NOT sexy, guys) but it is a good way to get impetigo, a nasty, painful skin infection. Baby oil or mineral oil is great to keep skin irritation to a minimum. Hope that helps, and good luck!

You could buy a Sieko Cleancut personal shaver. My S.O. has been using hers twice a week for about a year; she is silky smooth and soft with no cuts or razor bumps. Recently, being in one of her wonderfully kinky moods, she asked me to shave everything: scrotum, perineum, and all around my penis, leaving only a "landing strip" like those you see on the guys in porno films. With a little persuasion, I "allowed" her to do the honors. My initial apprehension was for naught. Even allowing for an understandable lack of caution brought about by this quite erotic situation (having my lovely woman shave me in preparation for a very hot day and night), this was a painless and effective way to remove all that "nasty old hair". No blood, cuts, nicks, or razor bumps occurred; just smooth, hair-free skin. My Lady's subsequent reaction was...uummmm... mind blowing....*grin*.

The only problem was when the hair started to return in about two days; rather like having sand paper glued to one's most sensitive and personal area. The only solution I came up with was to request a semi-weekly grooming session with my favorite tonsorial consultant......*wicked grin*!

Given the success of our experiment, I would recommend that you have your partner participate in whatever solution you arrive at.

Just use a nice new razor blade and some good shaving cream and shave away. I keep it shaved smooth in the shower about once a week. Its not hard to do and you should not knick you self doing it. Sometimes I use a ladies shaving cream like skintimate.........

i guess this is a message for the guys...my girlfriend asked me to shave my genital area completely...up until now i just have kept it neat...but how exactly would you go about that...i mean i want to do it...but i am very afraid of cutting myself while doing that....any suggestions????

Would an electric shaver do the trick.

My lower bits are seriously overgrown....ie halfway down my thighs but ive never used a Blade, not even on my face.

If i trimmed it down first then used the electric would it work.
The one i use is a cheap Phillips shaver, one with the 3 circular spring loaded blades.

Just "shaved" my balls ... Magic shave cream seem to be the best for the job and it was surprisingly cheap compare to Nair (bad idea) ... also I need to edit out my previous comment about electric razor (another bad idea) ... blades ...single blade Bic type razors do excellent job but it takes lot more then 7 minutes (time for Magic to do it's ummm magic) and no matter how long you spend shaving there always will be some motherfucker sticking out and later poking your penis. Use razors on your face, Nair on your legs and Magic on your balls ... if you have trouble finding Magic shave just ask one of them store people or look for a tube with bold black dude on it. They keep it with hair coloring products. There is also powder stuff blue and gold ... I'm not sure how good it is but it sure is cheaper ...
