I have the feeling I've been played the fool, only problem is i can't prove it. The excuses I get from someone i met online are plausible, but something is just not right. I am not the only one to question this person either, but i feel guilty at the same time. What to do, and I am not a cyber sleuth so tracking and searching is out. Any advice out there??? Anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks Dot :)

Well I dealt with this and the end result was a lot more smoke and mirrors. Confront him/her and if they are evasive you basically have your answer.

9 times out of ten, at least with me... if it feels wrong, it is wrong. Simple.

I am somewhat of a cyberslueth...and generally when I have been asked to check someone out because of a gut feeling, The guts have been right on target.

In the real world, if you had doubts, would you bother to find out or just go on without that person? It is too easy to be someone else online.

Guilt only serves the purpose of the ones causing you to feel the guilt. If you have done nothing wrong to warrant such emotion and they have "plausible" but yet doubtful excuses, follow your instincts. If you are wrong in the end, does it really change anything about your real life?
