How do you get a hot or editors pick rating?

I have spent several idle moments wondering how these honours are bestowed. Can't seem to work it out. Would somebody be so kind as to enlighten me...

Laurel bestows the E. If you have over a 4.25, or is it 4.50 with more than 10 votes, then you get the H.

It means HOT If you allow your cursor to hover over these little symbols, a little note will pop up to explain.

HOT or not?

Definitely above 4.50, because all mine seem to fall around 4.30. Just try your best, until YOU are satisfied with it, and I'm sure everyone else will love it, too. Some of my favorite stories don't have any honors... like the "Surrender" series... but I'll check on that again.

I agree, I have read some very good ones that have not recieved a 4.50 or above.
