How do you copy a post from a thread, and paste it as a link in a PM?. Is it possible to post more than one of these links in the same PM? (I'm not talking about the quote function, I'm talking about a link that will take the recipient of the message directly to the post in the tread)

1: Use the search function to find the post(s) using the "show results as posts" option.

2: Right click on the second link (to the individual post) in the results list next to the post you want to link and choose "Copy Shortcut."

2a: Paste the shortcut to a temporary file in Word, or other text editor or the PM you're writing in another window.

3: Paste the shortcut(s) into the PM, and make sure that "automatically parse URLs is checked.

4: Send the PM.

Alternative method:

Select the portion of the posts you want the person to read and copy & paste the text into the PM directly.

Alternative method 2:

1: Click the quote button as if you were going to reply to the post.
2: Select and copy the contents of the reply form.
3: use the back button toabandon your reply
4: paste the text (with woute tags intact) into a PM.
