How do some people *coughtophercough* not know they have a PM?

Don't you all get email notifications of them? Ok, if your email isn't on, don't you at least get that little pop up message that says you have a PM?

I know once or twice the system has failed me, but most of the time, I get notice one way or another.

They prefer more long-time members, us newbies often have to go and check um... manually.

I dont get emails, thank the lord and sometimes I shut the pop-up off.

Just fire up teh webcam Ruby and we will get busy.

Maybe he has the pop up message feature turned off.

I have mine turned off and check my PM's at random.

Just a thought.

LOL! I have the same problem, LukkyKnight. I had several PM's the other night and did not know it until the next day. LOL! I do love technology!

i used to have problems with the popups a lot, but lately that seems to have resolved...keeping my fingers crossed and knocking on wood

lukky...maybe you're identified a prejudice in the software against newbies!

Let me know if you find out why they don't respond? I am beginning to think I should start taking it personally that I am not getting a reply back and that he gets off line as soon as I come on to the board. Heck, I am starting to think maybe I have become a troll??? (Checking out my body for any signs of green skins and fur...nope none yet!)

Some people have their settings on no pop up, or email notification. Then they have to check it manually.

My little sweet tart says his pm's rarely pop up for him. It is sad and he is bummed. I feel his pain.

Lit is acting way weird for me today.
Whenever I go for the General Board I have to check the times on the posts & usually need to refresh the page after I arrive.

My PM's are slow, got a pop-up well after the message had been read, & got into somebody else's box. No pun intended.
