How do I paste on to here.

I want to show my work on these forums but have honestly forgotton how to paste the information onto here. I understand what information I need after reading a thread but this still doesnt explain how exactly I paste onto here. I see Titles on here, that are underlined and easy to click on. Just want to know how to do it please and have my work seen by more people.Thank you

Generally speaking, paste is done by pressing the ctrl and v keys simultaneously.

However, if you're looking to get critique on your work, then you'd be better off going and looking in the Story Feedback Forum or the Story Discussion Circle, as this is more of conversation, general advice and writing discussions forum. Be careful to read the FAQs there to make sure you're doing it in the right way though.

Link in your signature.

The easiest way to let people look at your work is to include a link in your signature.

If you click on User CP at the top of the thread you will see a choice of options.

What you need to do to include the list of your stories in your signature is to copy and paste the url for that list into the signature box, adding {url= before, end in } type in the title e.g. "My Work" and end with {/URL} All that should be with square brackets not shaped ones. If I had used square brackets you wouldn't see the code.

Adding a link is polite. Cut and pasting a whole story is not really appropriate for the Author's Hangout but as The Earl said, more for Story Discussion BUT read their rules first.
