How do I make an animated GIF?

The easy way is to have an animation program (I prefer Paint Shop Pro's animation one) have the frames you want to use handy and the program has a nifty wizard that can put it together for you.

Tis that simple.

The only editing program I have is Photoshop 5.0.

I agree with lovetoread; Paint Shop Pro7(PSP) is the best. The program will cost you around $100 or so, but it is SO worth it. It has it's own separate Animation Shop in the software. I am assuming by 'Photoshop' that you mean Adobe? Which, by the way, is excellent, but you still need an animation prog. Here is a shameless plug LMAO:

You can buy online, or places like Best Buy will have PSP. It is SO worth it, but I am a graphics nut LOL so I am biased
