Religions are all the same. They have core beliefs (I.e. Jesus, Mohammed...etc) and they have scriptures that are mostly loosely followed....and then followers get together and discuss them.

I'm not sure I have ever met any Christians. I never read that part of their special book, so I don't know how much of a gap there is between Christian principles and people claiming to be Christians.

That's not how that works.
Sure, and agree to the churches authority over them....or they're out of the church. Christianity isn't some liberal "do whatever!! just identify as a Christian and you are!!" thing. There is a 2000 year old tradition with rules and structure that define the religion.
Yes, the original churches in accordance with the scriptures are religiously correct.....not the heritic sects.
